Madison Methodist Church Music Ministry

Madison Methodist Church is blessed to have many wonderful individuals who give of their time and talents to enhance our worship experience.  We have numerous musical groups incorporating ages 3 through Senior Adults.  A variety of musical styles are presented by our various groups and all have an active fellowship revolving around our rehearsals and musical events.  The MMC Music Ministry presents numerous musical worship and social events yearly in addition to presenting special pieces during Worship.  New members are always welcome!  

CHANCEL CHOIR:

On any given Sunday morning MMC's Chancel Choir leads the church to the throne of God in worship.  Singing in our choir is an marvelous experience as you join many others together in harmonious praise and worship. 

We would love to have you join our community of voices! Contact us, or simply show up for a rehearsal on Wednesdays in the Choir Room at 7:00 PM.  We look forward to meeting you!   

YOUTH CHOIR:

The Student Choir is for students in grades 6–12. No special talent is required. If you have a passion for worship, come as you are, ready to be a leader in our church for true, passionate worship! Rehearsals are Sunday afternoons from 4:30 -5:30 in the Chancel Choir room. See you Sunday!

CHILDREN'S CHOIRS:

Our graded choral program begins with Lil Notes which is ages 3 to Grade K . They meet Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:15 in the Children’s Music Center.        


We also have Joyful Voices which is ages K - 5th Grade. They meet Sunday morning's from 9:45 - 10:30 in the Chancel Choir Room.

HANDBELLS:

We are so blessed to have 2 Handbell Choirs: Our Chancel Bells which is a 6-octave Handbell/Chime Choir ages high school and adults and our Rockin Ringers grades 2nd - 12th.  Rehearsal is Sunday afternoon's with Rockin' Ringers from 3:00 - 4:00 and Chancel Bells from 4:00 - 5:30. Join a strong team of fellow ringers as we prepare for Sunday Services and special program.  We are always looking for new members. 

CHAMBER ORCHESTRA:

The Chamber orchestra is an auditioned group requiring advanced playing level able to handle challenging music.  Rehearsals are Monday nights from 8:00 - 9:00 in the Christian Life Center.  For audition requirements and more details please contact Sandy Weisner. 

VOCAL ENSEMBLES:

In addition to our adult choirs, we have smaller ensembles: 

Church Street Boys - Men's Ensemble - Highschool youth and adults which meet on Wednesday's from 6:00 - 7:00 in the Chancel Choir.  

Chancel Ensemble - 6 to 8 member mixed group of men and women which meet in the choir room as needed.
